The Blue River neighborhood – a town unto itself, but very much a part of Breckenridge.

Located directly south of Breck, no property is further than six miles away from Main Street and world-class skiing. Not surprisingly, the town’s name originated due to the fact that the Blue River meanders pleasantly through the community, eventually feeding the mighty Colorado River. A small lake known as the “Goose Pasture Tarn” is located on the north end of Blue River and much of this water is deeded to the Town of Breckenridge. All residents of Blue River have access to the Tarn for fishing and non-motorized boat use. Properties in the Blue River neighborhood range from tiny one-bedroom A-Frames up to multi-million $$ lakefront estates. An incredibly diverse neighborhood surrounded by state & national forest , Blue River will forever be a gateway to Breckenridge.
